Even if your home university doesn’t have any active exchange agreements or contacts with IKBFU, we will be happy to receive your application.

Requirements

The University welcomes students from around the world to study as a visiting student for one or two semesters. Incoming exchange students are provided with accommodation at a University hall of residence. Although all programmes are free of cost, you will have to pay a hall fee unless there is a special agreement between your home university and IKBFU. As an exchange student, you should have an insurance policy covering your entire stay in Russia. You need to be at least B1 level to take courses taught in Russian and B1/B2 to take those in English. Courses in medicine have a higher language proficiency requirement (B2).

Application Process

Steps towards your exchange studies at IKBFU

Step 1

Choose IKBFU as your exchange destination

Step 2

Prepare your documents:

  1. Visa Invitation Application.
  2. Letter of Motivation.
  3. Application form.
  4. copy of your passport ID page,
  5. copy of your student card or other proof of enrolment at your home university.
Step 3

Fill in the Learning Agreement

You can attend courses in English, Russian (please send an e-mail to
international-study@kantiana.ru to get a list of courses offered) or both.

Step 4

Submit the documents to international-study@kantiana.ru

Deadline to apply

For autumn semester: April 15
For spring semester: October 30

Step 5

Wait for your documents and learning agreement to be processed and for your letter of confirmation to be delivered.

Receive your visa invitation
